Campus Profile:Set between the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, the new 12,500 square foot Hillel Jewish University Center provides Jewish opportunities for students throughout Pittsburgh. With social, educational, political and social justice programming, the Hillel JUC provides the over 3,000 Jewish University students in Pittsburgh with a home away from home along with extensive leadership training and other opportunities. Delicious new kosher food available at eight locations across campus. There is also a wide selection of certified vegan and vegetarian options to supplement the kosher food menu. The meals are included in the meal plan are available for lunch and dinner daily. Pitt is now ranked number #19 among Public Universities (according to US News and World Report) and Jewish enrollment is increasing measurably every year. The Hillel JUC is the second largest student organization at Pitt out of over 300 student organizations.
