Explore Colby Hillel
Colby has a vibrant and diverse Jewish community. Hillel holds a weekly candlelighting service followed by a homemade dinner made by students in the kosher kitchen. Hillel partners with Beth Israel Congregation in Waterville for holiday celebrations including High Holiday services and meals, Sukkot, Purim, Passover, and more. From goat hikes, to the Colby-Bowdoin-Bates Shabbaton, to Thai and Torah, there is something for everyone at Colby Hillel. Jewish life on campus is supported by the Center for Small Town Jewish Life and an amazing Jewish studies department.Undergraduate Enrollment
