The Georgetown University Jewish Chaplaincy/Hillel maintains a strong, vibrant, and supportive Jewish community at Georgetown to provide undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with opportunities to explore their Jewish identities.
Every Jewish student is a significant part of Georgetown`s Jewish community. Georgetown Hillel is the principal campus organization for Jewish students. Activities and events are planned by staff collaborating with students from all interest groups to meet the needs of the diverse population. Social, educational, political, cultural, and intercultural activities offer many ways to become involved in Jewish life at Georgetown. Our students and our many programs are exceptionally diverse for smaller population and consistently draw a large percentage of that population. Georgetown University students thrive in the Catholic, Jesuit environment that they find supportive and welcoming.
Jewish Chaplaincy/Hillel invites its members to engage in service and encourages them to reflect on their work in the light of their faith. Retreats and other programs offer time for reflection and spiritual growth.
