Hillel at Simmons is your center for Jewish life on campus and is a proud member of the Hillel Council of New England family. Simmons Hillel offers social, cultural, religious and educational programming throughout the year. This small and mighty Jewish community is supported by the Simmons Office for Student Leadership and Activities, The Office of the Dean for Student Life, Hillel Council of New England and the Soref Initiative of Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life. Simmons Hillel is staffed part-time Hillel Director Miriam Berkowitz Blue and she is available to meet with students regarding personal or religious issues, as well as just to chat. Simmons Hillel offers leadership opportunities such as the fall Student Leadership Conference in which student leaders from all over New England come together to share best practices and learn from experts in the field. Other campus activities include themed Shabbat dinners, hamentashen baking, boston wide galas and purim parties in addition to educational and cultural events.
