William and Mary Hillel is based out of the newly constructed Shenkman Jewish Center. The SJC has a kosher kitchen under the supervision of the local kashrut organization and is an amazing, state of the art facility. Students are welcome to make the Shenkman Jewish Center their home away from home. Hillel offers programming such as Israel related events, social programs, religious and cultural events, and lots of events surrounding food. Kosher Dining
We are currently working with the university to create a kosher dining plan. There are nearby stores that sell packaged products and stores driving distance away that sell kosher meats, but we hope to have more kosher options in the near future. Religious Services
Every Friday night there is a student led Shabbat program. Most weeks there is food, if not a complete Kosher Shabbat dinner.
