The Jack and Harriet Kudine First-Year Student Scholarship will be awarded to three graduating high school seniors preparing to seek a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada. Applicants must demonstrate a record of leadership and/or volunteer service in any aspect of their local community, and must also self-identify as Jewish.

Renewable for up to three additional school years, in addition to the first year. Not renewable after the third school year/payment, or the student’s completion of an undergraduate degree, whichever comes first.

Yes! You can apply to as many scholarships as you are eligible. Incoming first-year students who are eligible for this scholarship may also be eligible for the Paulson Leadership Award for Jewish CUNY Students and the Frimer First Generation Student Scholarship.

Yes! Anyone who will be entering their first year of their undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year institution and fits the other criteria are welcome to apply.
