This scholarship is for Jewish undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university. Preference given to someone enrolled in a professional school such as a law school, business, or library/information science. Preference will also be given to a student who is an immigrant.

The Henry J and Carole Pinkney Research Scholarship supports any Boston University undergraduate or graduate student's research in Jewish Studies. Students can request funds to cover travel expenses, conference fees, and other costs directly related to research or professional development.

Henry L. Feingold Graduate Student Essay Prize

This Essay Prize is awarded biennially for an outstanding paper submitted by a graduate student. Submissions should include: an original, stand-alone research paper of no more than 30 pages, and a CV that notes place of graduate study and degree pursued. Published material is not eligible for consideration.

HIAS Chicago Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships

Since 1991, HIAS Chicago has provided academic scholarships to an extremely impressive group of individuals who immigrated or whose family immigrated to the Chicago area with the assistance of HIAS Chicago, or who accessed HIAS Chicago's immigration and citizenship services once in the United States.

HIAS Scholarship Awards Competition

This competition is open to refugees and asylees who were assisted by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society to come to the U.S. Undergraduate and graduate students may apply for a $2000 award towards educational expenses. Applicants will be judged in three areas: academic scholarship, financial need and Jewish communal involvement.

Hilda & Dr. John Lanzkron Medical Scholarship

The Fund provides a scholarship to a Jewish medical-school student in good standing at an accredited medical school. Medical school transcript is required. The committee will consider volunteer activities and other interests. Priority is given to students who are connected to the Capital District.
