The Mark and Helen Gross Award will be given to one or two students affiliated with the Centre for Jewish Studies and in the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Established by Martin Samuelsohn to encourage Jewish students to attend his alma mater, Southern Methodist University School of Law. Candidates must be enrolled in or applying for full-time study at Southern Methodist University School of Law. Academic excellence, financial need, and community involvement will be considered.
This scholarship is for Jewish undergraduate or graduates pursuing a degree program in electrical engineering at an accredited college, university, or graduate school. Students must show financial need, leadership in the Jewish community, and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must reside within the San Francisco Bay Area.
Masa Israel Journey offers grants and/or scholarships for Jewish young adults to come to Israel for long-term Israel programs. Applicants must be Jewish and be between the ages of 18 and 30. Grant amounts are determined by factors such as age, home country, length of program, etc. In addition, need-based scholarships are available.
One (1) fellowship will be awarded each year to a deserving scholar from outside the United States engaged in graduate level, post-doctoral, or independent study to conduct research in the JDC Archives. The amount granted will be $2,500.
The Max Weinreich Center Research Fellowships is awarded for scholarly research in YIVO’s library and archival collections. These fellowships are intended primarily for graduate students and emerging scholars. Each fellowship requires a public lecture to be held during or immediately after the fellow’s research period.
The Fund provides a stipend to a Jewish student (or students) at the Albany College of Pharmacy. The recipient will be chosen based on character, academic record, service to the Jewish community as demonstrated through interests, activities, and financial need. Priority is given to students who are connected to the Capital District.
The number and amount of scholarships varies from year-to-year. The scholarship is available to students with documented intellectual or physical disabilities, or students majoring in a field to assist individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities.
To help train qualified individuals for careers in Jewish scholarship and research; to help Jewish educational, religious and communal works to obtain advanced training for leadership positions. Applications opens July, 15th, 2019
To assist individuals in carrying out an independent scholarly, literary or art project, in a field of Jewish specialization, which makes a significant contribution to the understanding, preservation, enhancement or transmission of Jewish culture. Applications open July, 2020.
