Meet Rabbi Aaron Lerner

Aaron grew up in an intermarried household feeling loved but confused. As an undergrad at USC Hillel helped him work through questions about his own identity. Hillel, he found, was an open place to think about who he was, where he wanted to go, what he wanted to do with his life, and how questions of identity fit into that puzzle.

Aaron can relate to many students with similar backgrounds and questions. After a career in investment banking, Aaron says he is inspired to work with people in the prime moment of their identity forming years. “That’s an awesome opportunity, one I can’t pass up.”
